中國(guó)日本就東海天然氣開(kāi)采糾紛舉行談判 (China, Japan Open Talks on East China Sea Gas Dispute)
中國(guó)和日本官員在北京就長(zhǎng)期爭(zhēng)執(zhí)的東海資源開(kāi)采權(quán)問(wèn)題舉行談判。東京首席談判代表在星期五的會(huì)晤之前表示,日本方面希望在前7輪談判沒(méi)有產(chǎn)生實(shí)質(zhì)性結(jié)果后,北京能夠提出新建議。
率領(lǐng)中國(guó)代表團(tuán)的外交部官員表示,中國(guó)希望達(dá)成雙方都能夠接受的一項(xiàng)聯(lián)合開(kāi)發(fā)計(jì)劃。
在中國(guó)總理溫家寶上個(gè)月訪日期間,中日雙方一致同意,尋求一項(xiàng)能夠讓雙方共同開(kāi)發(fā)能源的妥協(xié)方案。
中國(guó)東部和日本南部沖繩列島之間有爭(zhēng)議的海域蘊(yùn)藏著豐富的天然氣資源。
Chinese and Japanese officials have opened talks in Beijing on a long-standing dispute over drilling rights in the East China Sea. Before the start of Friday's meeting, Tokyo's head negotiator, said the Japanese side is hoping for new proposals from Beijing, after seven rounds of talks failed to yield substantial results.
Chinese Foreign Ministry officia, who leads China's delegation, says China wants to reach a joint development plan acceptable to both sides.
During a visit to Japan last month by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, the two sides agreed to find a compromise that would allow joint energy development.
The disputed area between eastern China and Japan's southern island chain of Okinawa is rich in gas deposits.
